Responsibilities:


  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle (e.g. fluid levels, tire pressure, exterior condition, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring safe operating condition of the vehicle and meeting state requirements.
  • Prepare and complete all necessary documentation, including vehicle travel logs, incident reports, and miscellaneous paperwork/reports within required timeframes as requested.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Assists the Mobile Access Clinic staff in ensuring the overall health care of the service users. Complete forms and contact designated staff in the event of a service user accident and injury.
  • Maintain assigned vehicles, both interior and exterior (e.g. cleaning floors/windows/seats. Etc.) for the purpose of ensuring safety, appearance, and sanitation of vehicle.
  • Complete intake paperwork as required.
  • Ensures dignity and respect for each service user by honoring privacy and confidentiality while on the Mobile Access Clinic.


Position Requirements:


  • A valid North Carolina driver’s license may be required. Personal auto liability insurance is mandatory if transporting service users in private/personal vehicle(s)
  • HS Diploma/GED or higher.
  • Maintain proficiency in company sponsored/required training. The following certifications may be required: CPR, First Aid, NCI A, NCI B, CPI, and/or others as specified/required by state and federal standards/regulations and/or company policy.

Required Working Conditions


Office/Residential- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly in an office type setting and residential (home) type setting with varying degrees of background noise, usually less than moderate. Lighting and ventilation is available as found in an office environment or normal home setting. The employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.


Essential Qualifications/Skills


  • Reasoning- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Mathematical -Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as addition, multiplication, division, percentages.
  • Language- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general professional journals, technical procedures, and/or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and speak in front of a group, respond to questions from employees, people supported, government officials and the general public.


Essential Physical and Sensory Requirements-With or without the aid of mechanical devices


Regularly required to lift 25 lbs. Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. Must be able to pull minimum of 25 lbs. Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop. Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Required to regularly stand and walk. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level requiring to work on hands, knees, bending, standing and lifting. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision. Must be able to talk and hear.
