JOB SUMMARY

Crystal seeks a full-time (1.0 FTE, 10-month, exempt ) math teacher with experience teaching 7th Grade Pre-Algebra, 8th Grade Algebra 1, and 9th/10th Grade Geometry.

Travel Required

  • Frequent between the Middle School and Upper School campuses


Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • May work at a desk and computer for extended periods
  • Able to lift up to 20 pounds
  • Able to work in a dynamic environment dealing with a wide variety of challenges, deadlines, and a varied and diverse array of contacts
  • Able to climb stairs

Required Education and Experience

  • Knowledge of subjects assigned
  • Ability to instruct students and apply effective classroom management
  • General knowledge of curriculum and instruction practices
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Strong communications, public relations, and interpersonal skills
  • The ideal candidate will have at least three years of algebra teaching (or related) experience and a B.A./B.S. in a relevant field (Masters Degree preferred)


Salary Range

$70,000.00 - $150,000.00 Salary/year
