Microbiology Lab Assistant Jobs

LabCorp wants to speak with you about exciting opportunities to join our team as a Microbiology Lab Assisant in Phoenix,AZ. In this position you will work in a fast-paced, customer-focused, and challenging environment, and will be a part of our overall mission at LabCorp: "Improving Health, Improving Lives".

This position is responsible for assisting our technologists with a mix of Microbiology assays including EIA, PCR, Culture, and Microscopy.

Department: Microbiology

Schedule: Flexible / On Call

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
• Clean work areas, dispose of samples and locate all samples needed for testing
• Process culture and other samples according to SOP.
• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria
• Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary
