Position Summary
The primary role of the Membership Coordinator is to manage GPO / IDN membership and contract data in the Teleflex contracting systems, ensuring timely and accurate pricing, administrative fees and rebate payments across all business units. Membership eligibility must be validated and assigned appropriately. Additionally, this role will work closely with business unit leaders to develop, implement and manage a strategic GPO pricing hierarchy across all SBU’s and contracts. The Membership Coordinator must have a complete understanding of Teleflex’s distribution channel of sales through distributors to hospitals, surgery centers and clinics as well as their sales to end-user customers.
Principal Responsibilities
  • Work with Strategic Pricing and Contract Management team to ensure accurate GPO contract and tier assignments.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payments of administrative fees and earned rebate payments to Group Purchasing Organizations and Integrated Delivery Networks as stipulated in each contract.
  • Maintain and manage GPO / IDN membership and pricing.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Account Executives and Field Sales Management on compliance of accounts to contracts and provide concise reporting when accounts are not trending toward compliance.
  • Maintain a database of GPO Membership rosters to include GPO co-ids and GLNs.
  • Supports the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and all upgrades and enhancements to contract administration and membership management systems.
Education / Experience Requirements
  • Contract experience, sales support or marketing experience in a medical manufacturing environment is desired.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting, or related field with 3 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Specialized Skills / Other Requirements
  • Proficiency in SAP, BW, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and database
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong time management, planning and organizational skills
  • Strong work ethic and ownership or responsibility
  • Demonstrated ability to perform date extraction and manipulation, analyze data, and generate reports
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and assertive
  • Strong analytical, statistical, and problem-solving skills
