OrthoArizona is looking for Medical Scribes in the Central, West, North and South East Valley interested in gaining experience in the medical field, specifically in orthopedic/sports medicine. This is a great opportunity to work with Orthopedic Surgeons gaining vital clinical experience if you are Pre-Med, Pre-PA or Pre-Nursing candidate. You will be in the exam room with the surgeon typing the HPI, physical exam, imaging dictation, assessment and plan, putting in diagnosis codes, orders for office visit and all inner office procedures. We work as a team to get the job done.

Skills/ Requirements

• Good communication skills
• Type a minimum of 60 WPM.
• High School or college degree.
• Interest in Medical Field, preferably Pre-Med, Medical School, Physician Assistant, or other healthcare related field.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR use a plus.
• Accurate typing skills.

We see a high volume of patients on the days that we are in clinic and it is very fast paced. Clinic hours vary by team so candidates must have a flexible schedule to accommodate office hours at least 3 times a week from 7am-5pm.
