Medical Receptionist Jobs

FemmPro OB/GYN is seeking a highly motivated individual who can keep up in a fast-paced environment for our thriving Long Island practice.

Medical Receptionist Job Responsibilities:

• Welcomes patients and visitors in person or on the telephone, and answers or refers inquiries

• Handles a high volume of inbound or outbound calls

• Optimizes provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling

• Obtains prior authorizations for patients when necessary

• Obtains revenue by recording and updating financial information, recording and collecting co-payments and any previous outstanding balances

• Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, scanning documents, and updating personal and financial information into patient charts

Medical Receptionist Qualifications / Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience

• Familiar with Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, Word, etc.)

• Bilingual a plus
