Job Description

Description:

Veterinary Specialty Center, located in Bannockburn, is looking for full-time client service team members to work in our state-of-the-art companion animal hospital.
The ideal candidate should have the following skills:

  • Ability to work long periods at a computer.
  • Provide professional, efficient, and exceptional client service at all times
  • Effectively handle stressful situations while demonstrating a positive outlook and maintaining a professional composure and friendly demeanor
  • Ability to effectively manage a multi-line phone system; 80+ incoming calls per day
  • Strong multitasking skills
  • Self-motivated, independent, but works well with a team

Candidates need to speak and write fluently in English. They must be able to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills as well as confidence with computers. Must be able to type a minimum of 50 wpm.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Greeting clients with a warm smile, strong eye contact and approachable demeanor
  • Listening and addressing client concerns
  • Creating and sending medical records
  • Discussing and processing payments
  • Creating client and patient accounts
  • Provide VSC's Standards of Exceptional Client Service
  • Will to take on and perform additional duties as assigned or needed
  • Answering phone calls in a friendly and professional manner and direct calls appropriately
