Medical Assistant/Receptionist Fair Lawn Urgent Care Ft

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for administrative and clinical duties delegated by the medical and nursing staff. The duties of the Medical Assistant vary from office to office based on size and specialty of the practice. Performs various front office and back office patient care duties. More specifically, this position will assist with flow of patients from the waiting area to exam rooms and perform preparatory work on patients to ensure efficient use of the physician’s time.

Hours: M-F/1 Wkend Day (Variable Hours/8am-8pm & 9am-5pm)

Job Essentials:

• Must work well with others
• Ability to work in a busy environment, multi-task and excellent customer service skills required
• Epic experience preferred
• MA experience preferred

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited MA Program preferred

License/Certification/Registry:

• CMA/RMA/CPCT preferred; EKG Certified & Phleb Certifed preferred. BLS required.
