Department: Clinic - Center for Endocrinology & Diabetes
Classification: Full-Time
Shift: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Description: We are seeking a Medical Assistant to work in a busy endocrinology clinic. The clinic provides care to diabetic and endocrinology patients. A detailed oriented, organized nurse who is able to multi task will be the candidate offered the position. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Documentation in a electronic medical records. Triage patients utilizing assessments skills. Medical administration, reconciliation and education. Assisting in phone calls and managing patient medication refills. Works with the insurance companies on preauthorization's on all test and procedures and medications. Office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Weekends and holidays off. Excellent benefit package and salary.
