The Urology Group is searching for a Medical Assistant to work full time, 40 hours /week , Monday-Friday in our Fairfield & Middletown physician's offices. Position is based out of Fairfield and will travel to Middletown office. Mileage reimbursement is included.


Duties:


  • Assists physician in office procedures
  • Interviews patients and measures vital signs
  • Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients
  • Assists in answering phones, paper scanning and taking nurse calls.
  • Gives injections or treatments, performs phlebotomy and performs routine laboratory tests


Requirements:


  • Excellent communication skills
  • Positive attitude
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program
