Medical Assistant - Behavioral Health

Treasure Coast Community Health is growing and we need Medical Assistants (MA) to join our team. The MA will assist our highly respected Behavioral Healthcare team in providing excellence in clinical care support for our patients who visit our sites in the Vero Beach area / Indian River County. They will have such responsibilities to include updating electronic health records, educating patients, preparing exam rooms, sterilizing instruments, checking vital signs, giving injections and medication treatments, assisting the providers with procedures, etc. This person should be willing to assist with administrative tasks as needed. High school diploma or GED required. 6 months minimum related experience or combination of medical assistant work experience and related education are strongly preferred, along with hands-on EHR background. Fluency in the Spanish language is a plus.
