Responsibilities
As an Education/Outreach Coordinator, you'll be at the forefront of our mission, assisting in outreach and education efforts for beneficiaries, providers, and stakeholders. Your dynamic role will involve preparing and delivering engaging training presentations to both internal and external individuals. Your expertise in Medicare and Medicaid will make you a valuable subject matter expert to our stakeholders. Additionally, you'll play a pivotal role in creating fraud alerts and program vulnerability reports, making a real impact on program integrity. Your meticulous attention to detail will come in handy as you perform quality assurance by reviewing auditor/investigator case notes. Plus, you'll get the chance to showcase your creativity by contributing to our quarterly newsletter distributed to stakeholders.
Requirements
We value your passion for making a difference and expect you to bring certain qualifications to excel in this role:
A Bachelor's degree is preferred, but we welcome relevant experience and expertise.
A minimum of 3 years' experience with Medicare and Medicaid, showcasing your comprehensive knowledge of both programs. Additional experience with multiple Medicaid programs is a big plus!
Your outstanding outreach and coordination skills, along with your ability to deliver captivating training presentations, will be highly valued.
Previous experience on a Unified Program Integrity Contractor (UPIC) and/or Zone Program Integrity Contractor (ZPIC) contract is advantageous.
Knowledge of medical review, audits, or investigations will set you apart from the rest.
