Media Studio Job Opportunities:

Roto is an accomplished interdisciplinary design, development and production studio specializing in exhibitions and attractions for museums, science centers, aquariums, zoos, theme parks and other cultural and entertainment destinations. As a design-build company, we are in the unique position of both inventing and realizing our vision for attraction visitors across North America and around the globe.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about building inventive, rich, high-fidelity experiences across multiple media platforms. Our media applications are built on a variety of software platforms including Adobe Creative Cloud, Unreal, Unity, C#, C++, etc. Our designers typically collaborate across multidisciplinary teams such as immersive media design, content development, marketing, and others.
Typical Daily Functions – Dependent on skillset and role:

• Design and animate industry-leading 2D and 3D motion graphics and animations
• Encoding, converting, and editing videos, animations, applications and adding effects/elements to enhance motion graphics
• Work with creative teams and provide ideas and recommendations in ideation meetings
• Oversee projects of various scales – ranging from web or mobile to large-scale exhibition motion graphics.
• Test functionality and provide solutions to any “bugs” including those related to performance and budget
• Plan project workflow and manage schedule from storyboard concept to install
• Assist in research and development of new technology and project solutions
• Establish and improve pipelines for efficient creation and implementation of all video and/or digital content.
• Help clarify performance requirements and capabilities of project deliverables and identify potential risks throughout development.
• Produce media deliverables with in-house teams or external partners, when needed
• Design, code, and maintain functional software programs for digital applications
