Mechanical QC Inspector
Previous experience in civil construction works and supervision or inspection of welding.
Must be able to do the following:
Must have and demonstrate the knowledge and ability to interpret engineering specifications and drawings, fabrication and erection drawings, "cut" sheets and code requirements (ACI, ASTM, etc.).
Read and interpret construction documents, submittals, RFI’s and change order documents Prepare reports, meeting minutes and update construction record documents Possess experience in the use of various software including Microsoft Office products and other PM Software.
Have the ability to work in a fast paced environment while in a field office on the jobsite Have the ability to climb ladders and work in rough terrain.
Experience in inspection of underground pipe such as Reinforced Concrete pipe, Carbon Steel and HDPE pipe required.
Certified Welding inspector (CWI) a plus but not required Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus Ability to drive cars/trucks as needed
