What You Will Be Doing

• Produces product line drawings and specifications for use in sales catalogues.
• Existing product structures are reconfigured using existing, standardized components.
• Coordinates prototype support tasks such as fabrication and testing.
• Develops and maintains certification test programs used by on-site and third-party labs.
• Keep correct configuration management methods for assembly and piece part drawings up to date and in place.
• Understands mechanical structures, fluid flow, and heat transfer using Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
• Introduces design simplification concepts to the Design Team in order to assure performance, safety, quality, dependability, cost, and producibility.
• Solid Works 3D modeling software is used for part and assembly design. Include everything from the concept to the final design for production.
• Mechanical engineering for new switchgear items

What You Need for this Position
At least 3+ years experience with:

• 3D Modeling
• Component design
• Mechanical Design
• SolidWorks
• Auto Cad
