Job Description

BCCLT, Inc., a multi-discipline consulting engineering firm with five offices and a 50+ year history of providing professional engineering services, is seeking an Mechanical Engineer to join its experienced staff at our Louisville, Kentucky office.


Candidate will work in a collaborative engineer team environment designing mechanical systems for governmental, educational, healthcare and industrial facilities. Design will include HVAC, fire protection, plumbing and medical systems. The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for working under the direction of the responsible PE. The engineer shall gather all necessary support data, field data, design criteria, constructability, calculations, code review, and prepare documents for the assigned task. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for a complete and thorough design and will review their completed work for compliance with applicable criteria.


Qualifications

  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred, or an equivalent ability to read and understand designs and schematics.
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.
