What this looks like (starts after 90 days):

• 1st shift: $16.90/ hour up to $17.75/hour with attendance premium applied

On your 1st day, you will receive 40 hours of Paid Time Off and will earn an additional 60 hours of Paid Time Off during your 1st year!

As an Assembler at Caterpillar you will:

• Cross-train across work areas and ability to learn new work areas.
• Use industrial power tools for assembly and lifting devices to move heavy components.
• Leverage lean manufacturing concepts to support continuous improvement and waste elimination.
• Be held accountable for completing standard work within the allotted cycle time (approximately 3–15-minute cycle time).
• Follow documented procedures to perform safe and defect-free assembly and adjustment of parts and components.

Basic Requirements:

• Previous work experience with battery-operated torque tools.
• Previous work experience working on an assembly line or environment.

Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):

• Willing and able to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Willing and able to sit or stand for prolonged periods
• Willing and able to perform repetitive operations

Top Candidates will also have:

• Proven track record of good attendance and work history.
• Heavy equipment machine assembly experience
• Previous Caterpillar experience
• Previous work experience operating an electric hoist to lift more than 35 lbs.
