JOB SUMMARY
The Mechanic will maintain equipment and facilities with emphasis on mobile mining equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Troubleshoot heavy mining equipment
• Regular and predictable attendance
• Other job assignments as requested
• Attend all team meetings
• Meet physical demands of job according to the physical demands analysis
• Follow all mine safety requirements and best practices
• Maintain safe work record, be proactive in safety habits and behaviors
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
• Assist in work/tasks planning and organizing
• Communicate with on-shift coordinator and operations personnel
• Work 12 hour rotating shift
• Read, interpret and apply manuals and schematics information to job
• Utilize team skills/tools and participate in focus groups, team's meetings, AIP's

$27.68 - $35.88 / hour
