Md/Do - Ob/Gyn

A chain of Medical Centers is looking to hire a responsible and qualified MD or DO to work as an OB-GYN.
An OB-GYN (Obstetrician Gynecologist) diagnoses and treats various medical conditions that impact women's health. Their duties include diagnosing and monitoring illnesses and diseases, providing medical support to pregnant women and performing routine check-ups on female patients.
OB-GYNs have numerous responsibilities. This field combines obstetrics (a special area of care that encompasses preconception care through childbirth and delivery) with gynecology, which covers all areas of women's health.
Responsibilities

• Providing childbirth support.
• Diagnosing and treating conditions that affect women, such as certain types of cancer and conditions like menopause.
• Performing routine checkups with patients.
• Working with expecting mothers to explain the childbirth process.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience
• Board-Certified OB-GYN
• Active license in New York (NY)

Job Type

• Full Time: 40 hours per week; 80% OB (on call once every 3 or 4 weeks) and 20% GYN (office visits)

Pay Level

• $300k-$400k per year

Benefits

• CME: Eligible employees are entitled to take up to one week of CME time off, which shall be paid if EMC determines, in its sole discretion, that the subject matter will benefit EMC. EMC will reimburse up to $5,000 per calendar year for expenses which include NYS license fee, DEA, and CME coursed as well as expenses related to trainings.
• Accrual rate for the first five years of employment: Employees shall accrue the equivalent of 1.25 hours of vacation time for every 30 hours of regularly scheduled work time.
• Accrual rate for after the first year of employment: After the first anniversary of employment, employees will receive the equivalent of 2 weeks sick time of regularly scheduled work time.
• Dental insurance: Effective date of hire, Ezra contributes 50% of the premium.
• FSA is possible after 90-day probation period.
• After 6 months, providers will receive matching contributions of up to 4% of gross salary depending on the number of scheduled hours in to a 457b pension.
• Paid Vacation:
• Health insurance: Effective Date of hire, based on salary and number of years employed at Ezra, we cover between 50% - 90% of the insurance premiums.
• After 60 days, providers can enroll in our 403b pension plan.
• Pension:
• Accrual rate for the first year of employment: Employee shall accrue the equivalent of 1-hour sick time for every 30 hours of regularly scheduled work time.
• Paid Sick:
• Life and Disability: After two years of employment, Ezra provides a term life insurance and STD/LTD plan at no cost to full time employees.
• Accrual rate for after five years of employment: After the first anniversary of employment, employees shall accrue the equivalent of 2.5 hours of vacation time for every 30 hours of regularly scheduled work time.
