Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Materials Management IS Coordinator to join our team. This remote position requires working in EST hours and focuses on maintaining the database integrity of the Lawson Materials Management applications. The coordinator will develop data quality controls, generate reports for system monitoring, and serve as the liaison between Information Systems and Materials Management. Experience with Lawson Software Applications, healthcare materials management, and supply chain processes is required. This is initially a contract role with the potential for a permanent position.

Responsibilities:

• Review system-generated cost messages and work with the Purchasing department to obtain and update correct information.
• Create upload files for data and perform successful batch uploads into the Lawson application.
• Establish new vendors in the vendor master, conducting internet searches for exclusions and maintaining accurate information throughout the system.
• Conduct sample procedures in the Lawson TEST environment to prepare for regular upgrades and patches.
• Build and maintain the item master in the Lawson Materials Management system, including item location and contract information, ensuring data integrity and continuity.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable to expedite the invoice matching process and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Serve as the liaison between the department and the Lawson Global Support Center, effectively communicating resolutions to the manager.
• Generate reports using automated systems, write queries, and develop custom reports using tools such as Crystal Reports, Microsoft Access, etc.

Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with Lawson Software Applications.
• Knowledge of supply chain processes, including working closely with procurement teams and month-end closing activities.
• Experience with Materials Management Software Applications, particularly in a healthcare setting.
