Internship Program Structure:
Duration/Schedule: Flexible part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer months.
Fully onsite
Start Date: Summer 2024
What you'll do:
  • Ability to meet the essential job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation, as outlined in the job description
  • Assist in other projects and function as a resource for other team members
  • Document and improve processes
  • Follow Environmental, Quality and Safety Management System procedures
  • Participate in the fundamentals of product design and development including testing using a variety of tools and equipment
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement projects
  • And requirements
What you'll need:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to succeed in a team environment
  • Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field with current status of at least a Sophomore level
What we'd prefer:
  • Experience with Auto CAD and Pro-E
