About You & Your New Role

We are excited to offer an opportunity for an extraordinary Material Planner, to join our Chandon team.

You will be: A key member of our DCC and support the development and management of strategies to provide the company with optimal supply assurance and flexibility delivery performance on critical components. This role will leverage strong working relationships with our NDP team, other global supply partners, and key vendors to assure cost and delivery targets are met.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITES

• Develop and create a Supplier forecast that captures all internal requirements needed to support NPI build and regular production
• Work closely with production control, NPD, and supply management team to communicate the material plans, potential supply risks, and opportunities for improvements
• Create supply strategies that minimize the amount of inventory on hand, mitigates supply risks, and understand the entire supply chain for flexibility in production scheduling
• Communicate all clear-to–build plans, run-out projections, inventory liabilities, and obsolete inventory strategies
• Coordinate efforts within the cross-functional team for all activities relating to the changes management process to ensure a smooth transition for NDP Team
• Become the subject matter expert with the ERP/MRP systems with the ability to define the solutions that optimize the process
• Monitor your supplier’s performance through analytics to identify areas for opportunities to improve the supply base

Requirements

• A team player attitude and are passionate about your responsibilities
• Strong Analytical skills with ability to identify areas of risk and process creative solution
• A strong skill set in excel and other Microsoft applications
• At least 5 years’ experience in Materials planning with Wine industry experience being a plus
• Excellent attention to details with the ability to clearly communicate your position throughout the organization
• College degree is a plus
