Manager Of Raw Material Planning

The Manager of Raw Materials is responsible implementing the strategy and processes needed for short- and long-range forecasting and planning of raw materials. This role will focus on initiatives around understanding ownership, shelf life, and projection of all raw material quantities needed across the business.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Direct efforts to find capacity we need and unlock any capacity constraints
• Be the point person within the brand for all fabric related issues, including issues such as ownership, payment terms, invoicing and reconciliation.
• Support in defining and reporting out on raw material lead-times and speed capabilities of RM supply base
• Must have experience working in best-in-class fabric/trim manufacturing – knitting, dyeing, finishing, printing
• Will work directly with raw material suppliers and mills on capacity planning,
• Support with solutions as needed to ensure yardage is available at key milestone dates.
• Work closely with cross functional partners within Production, Development and Merchandise Planning.
• Support reporting out on fabric ownership and work with mills to strategically position and project on core fabrications and yarn.

• Extremely strong communication and presentation skills: concisely presents complex information and recommendations in terms meaningful to a variety of audiences.
• Must have experience working in best-in-class fabric/trim manufacturing – knitting, dyeing, finishing, printing
• Strong technical skills in Microsoft Excel and/or related planning, finance or analytical systems.
• 5+ years of management experience
• 8+ years of retail planning, inventory management, financial planning and / or production planning experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, operations, business, or supply chain preferred.

Pay Range: From $100,000 - $130,000
