CACI is seeking a Material Handler to join our team in Orlando, FL in the SA Photonics organization. At SA Photonics, we specialize in the design, development, and manufacturing of complex, state-of-the-art systems for military, space, and commercial applications. Our products include both optical and RF systems as well as sophisticated image processing & visualization systems. SA Photonics has a small team of highly experienced engineers and scientists who work in tight-knit groups on state of the art projects while enjoying a good work-life balance.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Participate in special projects/assignments as required
  • Reconciliation of inventory discrepancies to determine root cause.
  • Perform inventory management functions in support of product manufacturing.
  • Comply with security and confidentiality instructions and practices.
  • Daily 5S of work area
  • Maintain Stock Room organization for easy picking of products and to promote accurate inventory control.
  • Accept inbound deliveries from carriers. Accurately receive raw material from vendors by utilizing established receiving procedures.
  • Identify and record correct project cost accounting codes when preparing delivery documentation.
  • Package, prepare shipping documents and stage outgoing product and materials for transport.
  • Ensures that customer inventories are accurate.
  • Pulls raw material against work orders and assured materials are staged and ready for production
  • Prepare inventory and documentation (in conjunction with Buyers) for return to supplier shipments.
  • Empty trash and cardboard into appropriate containers
  • Complete daily cycle counts as instructed. Coordination of cycle counts.
  • Moves material to and from warehouse and production areas by use of forklift, pallet jack and other machinery.


You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year in materials warehouse
  • Forklift experience
  • Consistently demonstrates positive and productive results with attention to detail
  • Ability to independently recognize, troubleshoot and resolve problems
  • Ability to lift minimum of 50 lbs
  • Follows written and verbal instructions accurately and efficiently
  • Demonstrated effective teamwork skills
  • Ability to successfully adapt to change
  • Strong customer service skills
