What You'll Be Doing

• Managing weekly MRP reports, forecast, and changes
• Issuing daily purchase orders
• Sourcing and issuing RFQ to vendors
• This is an onsite position where you will be working closely with the Production Manager and Production Scheduler
• Managing local suppliers
• Updating data, descriptions, pricing, in ERP software

What You Bring To The Table

• Prior experience with machine shops, tooling, or bulk material (steel, aluminum, copper)
• MRP sofware experience (Oracle or SAP preferred)
• 5+ years of experience working as a Buyer in a Machine Shop or Manufacturing environments
• Proven history of price negotiations
• Vendor and supplier management experience
