Master Electrician Jobs

Master Electrician - Department Head responsible for all aspects of Asolo Repertory Theatre's lighting operations. This is a full time Year round position with a flexible start date but ideally starting no later than September 1 2023. Relocation assistant may be available. While this position is under a CBA with IATSE local 412 you do not need to be a union member to apply.

Essential Functions -

+ Lighting supervision of all productions.

+ Coordination and supervision of electrical department personnel and work crews.

+ Maintain and repair all equipment, supplies and storage.

+ Schedule and execute off-season maintenance.

+ Act as lighting board programmer and operator for some technical rehearsals.

+ Run shows as required.

+ Train and supervise lighting operators as required.

+ Discuss and maintain lighting budget and scheduling with Production Manager.

+ Work with Designers to create, draft and focus repertory light plot

+ Act as lighting consultant for all departments and theater functions.

Requirements:

+ Knowledge of operating, maintaining, and repairing lighting equipment

+ Skill with Vectorworks, Lightwright, and the Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel and Access).

+ Ability to program and operate an ETC Eos Family console.

+ Understanding of ETCNet and Networking for Lighting and Show Control.

+ Hours vary with the production calendar and show assignments. Work shifts include afternoon and evening hours, weekend hours, and overtime.

Salary

$24.50/ hr 40-hour guarantee/comp time/ Overtime
