Job Description

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing a wide range of tactical assignments in support of marketing campaigns and activities for new customer acquisition and existing customer upsell opportunities for our pediatric, behavioral health, and practice marketing lines of business. We are looking for a self-starter and creative thinker with a diverse skill set who has existing experience contributing to the success of an in-house marketing team and is looking to grow and learn with expanded responsibilities.


Essential Functions / Tasks / Duties:

  • Support marketing campaign development across multiple channels and platforms and internal and external company events to include:
  • Administer Websites & Publish Content - familiarity with Wordpress content management system and be able to perform technical website optimizations such as simple HTML modifications
  • Manage event materials, signage and promotional item inventory, upkeep and ordering
  • Own the trade show and event calendar and budget to include researching event opportunities
  • Develop and publish the monthly social media calendar across three lines of business in alignment with activities developed by the content and demand gen teams.
  • Develop Visual Assets - have advanced knowledge of graphical tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, with an emphasis on Illustrator and InDesign to develop assets for digital marketing campaigns, print campaigns, marketing collateral, signage and other graphical needs
  • Creating short-form promotional and introductory copy for social posts, emails, events, etc.
  • Maintain a marketing department internal Google Site that manages and shares marketing collateral, branding elements, logos, images, and content resources for internal use
  • Design emails for customer communications and marketing campaigns under the direction and in partnership with demand generation and content teams to include image sourcing and light copywriting
  • Project manage the facilitation of successful trade shows and other sales events including planning logistics such as booth selection and design to include signage, SWAG, collateral materials and other items to position our brand and equip our sales team to physically demonstrate our products and services to our target markets
  • Manage lead gifting inventory and order processing



Competencies:

  • Event marketing experience for small “tabletop” shows and larger-format national trade shows
  • Mature and collaborative, works well within a team environment and meets deadlines
  • An analytical and creative mindset that enjoys translating numbers and copy to visual representations
  • Experience using Google G Suite or Microsoft Word, Excel and PPT
  • Self-motivated with a problem solving mindset
  • Strong aptitude for organization, managing projects and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with all social media channels and experience working in social scheduling tools
  • A working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite primary tools: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
  • Demonstrated experience writing short-form copy across various content promotional activities



Education Requirements:

  • Associates or Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent industry experience



Experience Requirements:

  • A working knowledge of social media best practices, platforms and integrated publishing tools
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of marketing experience
  • Tradeshow and event marketing experience
  • Experience working with an in-house marketing team and with content marketing, demand generation and marketing operations teams
  • Graphic design and website CMS experience
