SUMMARY:
O’Neill Vintners & Distillers, one of the fastest growing wine & spirits companies in USA, is searching for an energetic, result-driven, and experienced Marketing Manager to lead one or more wine brands in the portfolio. She/He will be responsible for driving profitable growth through the generation of consumer demand and retail solutions, leveraging the marketing mix and sales organization to connect with consumers across touchpoints. This role will also require close collaboration with marketing colleagues, sales team, and agency partners. Candidates must be consumer focused and commercially minded, being able to both deliver successful brand strategies and innovative consumer and shopper programs, while driving tactical execution through-the-line with our commercial team.
The Marketing Manager successful candidate will have a combination of strategic marketing skills, commercial understanding, curiosity and creativity, coupled with the passion and ability to identify key insights and turn them into actionable plans.
Requirements:DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop and lead annual marketing and through-the-line activation plan for select brand(s).
- Partner with sales team to ensure they have the tools needed to drive the business, in line with brand strategy and brand identity as well as providing thought leadership and support for key Retailer presentations and pitches.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews and annual brand review to Executive team to identify risks/opportunities and measure business performance and plan progress. Leverage research, proprietary and third-party data to help inform business decisions and accelerate consumer demand
- Manage marketing budget and resource allocation across the marketing mix based on aligned marketing objectives and success metrics.
- Lead cross-functional Brand tribe(s) and brand P&L
- Responsible for developing, executing and evaluating effectiveness of consumer & trade programs that drive both consumer pull and conversion at retail/on-premise.
- Work closely with Marketing Director & CMO in developing five-year growth plan across select brand(s) and optimize on an annual basis
- Ability to adhere to companies’ 4 core standards (Trust, Ingenuity, Forward Thinking, Always Deliver)
- Successfully manage the creative process with partner agencies to deliver breakthrough ideas and programming that engages consumers across channels
- Lead brand partnership experiential execution (e.g. Pro Pickleball Association) and support sales team with local event identification and activation
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Proven record of driving successful consumer marketing initiatives
- Bold, embraces risk, and want to solve the tough problems that other competitors may fear
- Highly organized with keen attention-to-detail
- Dedicated and driven to understand what is taking place in culture and what is driving macro and micro trends
- 5+ years of experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods marketing. Retail/shopper marketing experience a plus. MBA preferred.
- Alcohol beverage experience and understanding of 3-tier distribution system a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective time and project management skills
- Proven desire and ability to think strategically and creatively, coupled with financial acumen and strong analytical/problem-solving skills
- Thrives in an entrepreneurial environment where he/she has the opportunity to build from the ground up but there is less formal structure or processes. Not afraid to take initiative to get things done.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills including ability to coordinate with multiple departments and diverse personalities
