Job Description
SUMMARY: Responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing all aspects and activities of the marketing function including promotions, advertising special events, and public relations. Responsible for developing and establishing policies, procedures and controls. Promote visits to the property through planning and implementing programs marketed to different market segments with a propensity to game. Oversee and implement all phases of the Tour & Travel program. Oversee advertising, database analytics, graphic design and social media efforts within the scope of the marketing plan.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Enthusiastically support, actively promote, and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
  • Obtain sequential sign-offs on all proofs moving in and out of the department.
  • Enhance guest interactions by providing a friendly greeting, offering directions, answering questions, making announcements, and creating an upbeat and positive atmosphere.
  • Manage promotional campaigns from concept through execution.
  • Must follow all safety policies and procedures and attend all scheduled safety meetings and training as a condition of employment.
  • Maintains promotional calendars.
  • Responsible for maintaining a disciplined environment and implement practices that promote safety, quality and productivity.
  • Ensuring the implementation, coordination, and execution of all casino promotions, special events, player development events, VIP players club management.
  • Develops, plan, and execute all promotions, special events, and off-property events to promote the casino.
  • Coordinates with all internal departments such as F&B, Security, and Facilities, as well as external vendors, to prepare all necessary items and schedule sufficient staffing for promotions, events relatively.
  • Ensure customer service standards are followed by all team members and address issues as they arise.
  • Able to make difficult decision in a fair and honest manner.
  • Create effective and efficient schedules, while managing labor cost, meeting staffing objectives and achieving guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
  • Help coordinate and supervise training, assignments and development of subordinates.
  • Ensure the budget for the department is monitored and adhered to by implementing effective processes and procedures.
  • Present a positive image of the Tribal organization to its guests and vendors and to assist them as required.
  • Responsible for the overall achievement of department customer service goals.
  • Develop strong relationships and proactively communicates with internal and external teams to drive collaboration.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to guests and all other employees by exceeding our mission statement.
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
  • Collaborates with management to help build Marketing strategic plan/calendar, budgets, and summary briefs for each individual project in alignment with property goals.
  • Maintain excellent communications with all Directors and Supervisors.
  • Oversees the day to day operations of the player's club.
  • Dress in appropriate attire based upon event/venue, occasionally a costume may be used.
  • Implements approved departmental policies and procedures.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage directly and indirectly all employees of the Marketing Department. Adhere to the Tribal organization's policies, procedures and applicable laws. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Carry out supervisory responsibilities which include but are not limited to: interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Four-year college degree in Marketing, 5 years Supervisory/Management experience in the gaming industry.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Data analysis and player data extractions; strong organizational and interpersonal skills required, Familiar with Player Technology systems, Gaming Concepts. Certification and working experience with SQL. Knowledgeable with Google analytics, online social platforms and website metrics, Proficiency of Microsoft products, Acrobat, Adobe tools to include, Adobe Illustrator, Bridge, Photoshop, Creative Cloud and Viz Explorer.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Bi-lingual preferred (English/Spanish) Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables
