Job Description

The Marketing Manager provides support across multiple channels for THE RANCH Restaurant, Saloon and Events Center, as well as general office duties. The Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing a team of marketing professionals, relaying information between upper management and department employees regarding budgets and daily procedures, and oversees the implementation of marketing campaigns to promote business products and services.


Responsibilities:

The following duties and responsibilities are representative of those typically performed. Note: this position may not perform all of these duties and/or may perform similar related tasks not listed here.

  • Maintain positive and cooperative relations with General Manager, Culinary Team, the Management Team, and the owner: engaging in relevant meetings with the management team and owner to speak on our branding, analytics, and promotions, and provide analysis and recommendations based on those results.
  • Securing placement in media for special events
  • Leading and training Marketing staff
  • Writing and formatting press releases and secure placement
  • Manage all digital directory/reputation management platforms including Google My Business, Yelp, TripAdvisor, and other listings to ensure accuracy and optimization, respond to reviews as warranted, and share results with management.
  • Organize photo galleries, press clippings, advertisements and other marketing materials
  • Coordinate and manage site visits, photoshoots, community events, for marketing purposes
  • Execute THE RANCH marketing programs and platforms to increase customer satisfaction, retention and referrals
  • Lead post-analysis of previous strategies, tactics, initiatives while collaborating with sales and management to ensure brand aligned execution and goal attainment.
  • Maintain competitive analysis – restaurant and country music venue
  • Work with other departments to execute any internal or external special event projects assigned, as well as produce and provide needed printed materials including promotional pieces
  • Manage the internal marketing calendar, ensure deliverables are executed on time and advising team members of due dates
  • Lead all necessary adjustments to the website according to the company’s needs and Web Accessibility Compliance
  • Maintaining the company's digital and social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Instagram, email and website- creating, scheduling and promoting shareable content appropriate for each specific network
  • Explore new and innovative ways to develop ongoing relationships with customers, generating strategies and programs with a focus on measurable results
  • Manage and maintain purchasing and design of limited number of retail items


Requirements-

Education and Experience:

  • Available for urgencies outside of work hours
  • Experience working in hospitality
  • Experience with CMS systems, HTLM, marketing automation systems
  • 5+ years’ experience in marketing and communications
  • Available to work occasional nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations
  • Experience with Aloha and Avante a plus
  • 3+ years’ experience in a management role

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Photography skills a plus
  • Expert knowledge of Social Media Marketing and Analytics (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
  • Ability to strategize, present ideas, and execute consistent branding messaging
  • Demonstrated ability to be poised and effective during high-pressure situations; ability to anticipate issues and have (or quickly develop) contingency plans
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Team player who can effectively prioritize and manage a multifaceted project schedule
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and social photo and video production tools
  • Proactive self-starter with attention to detail, and ability to delegate with follow-up
  • Superb organization skills; deadline and schedule-oriented, yet able to flex with dynamically changing priorities


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:will have excellent organizational skills and the ability to bring vision to life. Will be a natural team player, highly motivated, with an excellent eye for detail, the ability to capture emotion through written word and visual mediums and are ready to drive the public aspect of our unique venue.


Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
