Job Description

Storylines at Sea is looking for an experienced and versatile Marketing Manager with strong experience in Marketing across different channels and segments. The successful candidate is responsible for planning, strategizing and overseeing the marketing department while ensuring that projects are completed on time and within the allotted budget. The Marketing Manager designates project resources, prepares budgets, monitors progress, and keeps stakeholders informed throughout.


Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Partner with email, performance marketing, social, and web teams to design, test, and evolve lead nurturing tactics.
  • Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration
  • Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies
  • Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics
  • Develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments
  • Manage the marketing team of writers, digital strategists, and assistants
  • Manage all marketing projects from start to completion

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

  • Manage content and updates for lead touch points, establish budget guidelines, participate in events and document business processes
  • All of the above duties are done and communicated via ClickUp and Slack.
  • Conceptualise and execute multi-channel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels
  • Identify the effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives with tracking and analysis, optimizing strategies accordingly
  • Present ideas and final deliverables to internal and external teams, and communicate with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies, and budgets
  • Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, generate more qualified leads and increase customer conversions
  • Working in partnership with the creative team, develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets

Requirements

  • Experience advising on digital marketing strategies with the know-how to make and assess strategic recommendations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong team relationships
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Metrics-driven marketing mind with an eye for creativity
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proven experience as a Marketing Manager preferably with a luxury brand in the hospitality and/or cruise Industry
  • Working knowledge of project management tools such as Asana, Wrike, Notion, ClickUp, Monday, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of online marketing tools and technology
  • Excellent understanding and knowledge of social media platforms
  • Sense of ownership and pride in performance and its impact on company success
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with WordPress is a plus but not required
  • Strong experience in marketing strategy and digital advertising
  • Working experience with Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Facebook Business Manager, and CRM software
