Twelve South is a Charleston-based company that designs and manufactures ingenious accessories tailored exclusively for Apple. We are actively recruiting a Marketing Manager to join our team who will infuse every aspect of our core values of Integrity, Creativity, Teamwork, Passion, Ownership, Positivity, and Growth into exceptional marketing strategies and campaigns.
As the Marketing Manager, you will liaise between various stakeholders, including Product, Creative, Sales, and the Executive team to unite messaging, drive the go-to-market (GTM) process, and craft strategic, multi-channel (digital and physical) campaigns that highlight our innovative range of products. You will build brand awareness while engaging & educating customers. You will also oversee project and brand budget management, ensuring that projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
As the ideal candidate, you can demonstrate a successful track record of developing and overseeing inventive multi-channel campaigns that drive customer acquisition, conversion, loyalty, and enhance brand equity across digital, traditional, and physical platforms. You will possess the organizational skills of project manager, the attention to detail of a designer, and the ability to seamlessly communicate with diverse teams.
What you’ll do:
- Support retail activations in-market by collaborating with our internal sales team.
- Own the appropriate marketing budgets and project calendars.
- Manage the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for our brand and all product campaigns, providing clear direction on initiatives and timelines. Measure marketing performance and iterate for continuous improvement.
- Drive the customer journey with an actionable plan that includes messaging and consumer touchpoints that support brand positioning and drive business growth.
- Unite teams in preparation for key launches, establishing benchmarks and KPI’s.
- Develop and publish SOPs for repeated marketing tasks, emphasizing ongoing efficiency improvements.
- Manage advertising efforts and collaborating with an external agency to ensure online advertising and digital marketing (paid, social, SEO/SEM) are successfully driving website traffic, consumer engagement, and revenue growth.
- Oversee and direct all aspects of our marketing communications activities, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging across various channels.
What you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or public relations or equivalent experience.
- Experience launching products and campaigns through go-to-market across multiple channels and media.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bonus: Knowledge of consumer electronics and lifestyle spaces.
- Ability to connect information, work streams, and people to inform the work.
- Proven effectiveness in developing clear, concise marketing and creative briefs.
- Proficiency in paid search and affiliate/influencer marketing, with a track record of driving creative quality and revenue.
- Ability to identify and address business challenges, utilize insights, engage in discussions and debates, and develop informed perspectives.
- Confidence in communicating internally with the C-suite and employees.
- Ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity to develop new ideas and concepts
- Demonstrated experience in leading, managing, and measuring product marketing initiatives.
- Exceptional storytelling skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities, including the ability to deliver compelling presentations.
- Strong program and project management skills.
- Preferred: Experience in retail (online and stores) and product launches.
