As a Marketing Intern at Cargill, you will gain hands-on experience working on marketing projects within our Cargill Food Solutions or Salt business. Projects could range from digital marketing, social media work, benchmarking, campaign development, data and analytical research and communication support. Our purpose is to be strategic partners with Sales to create data-driven stories around Cargill’s unique value proposition that enables profitable growth for Cargill and our customers. Internships are typically 12 weeks in duration. Interns are paid hourly for time worked. Interns are responsible for transportation to and from work. Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited program (all majors considered), graduating between December 2024 and May 2026 Candidates must be geographically flexible and willing to relocate for an internship opportunity in Wayzata/Minneapolis, MN Able to complete a 12-week internship in the summer (May/June - August 2024) Proven ability to work optimally with individuals from a diverse set of backgrounds and cultures Must possess a high degree of initiative and resourcefulness in completing work with limited guidance Preferred Qualifications:
Overall 3.0 GPA or higher based off of 4.0 scale Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Communications, Sales or a related degree Passion for Cargill’s value proposition and becoming our customers’ indispensable growth partner Effective problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions independently Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, with ability to influence decision-making Strong analytical skills, focus and attention to detail Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks with solid performance/results Ability to work independently and in a team environment
