The Role:

Are you experienced with coordinating events? Can you collaborate with a range of teams, stakeholders and clients? Then you might be just the Marketing Event Coordinator we’re looking for!


What will your day look like?

In the role as Marketing Event Coordinator, you will be the point of contact when it comes to the execution of all virtual and in-person marketing events, and you will be the subject matter expert in modern marketing tools and services in the brand space. You will be responsible for bringing together different elements in order to execute event briefs in a joint approach, which addresses client objectives and business challenges. More specifically, your tasks will include:

Responsibilities:

  • Train marketer on the utility of event platforms and educate local stakeholders on event services, tools and capabilities
  • Will own the overall planning of the event lifecycle, including preparation of all related materials and collateral, coordinating dry runs for each event, identifying and solving potential issues before events, reporting on and escalating issues to obtain needed support, etc.
  • Will act as the subject matter expert on event platforms in conjunction with internal and external corporate support
  • Reporting to provide specific reviews and information to stakeholders, including budgeting, spending, etc.
  • Obtaining insights and analyzing marketing activities to find patterns, best practices, and building and improving efficiencies
  • Project coordination, execution and management of in-person and virtual events. This includes attending on-site events, ensure control, pace, and execution on time as well as creation and management of all related collateral and materials (e.g. decks, videos, traditional media, etc.)
  • Develop a deep understanding of the clients’ business and marketing objectives is crucial, specifically when it comes to the projects you will own
  • Ensure a strong client-agency relationship; ongoing efforts to improve client satisfaction and assist with the growth of the client account

Requirements:

The ideal candidate must have an appreciation and interest in marketing automation and related technology for digital as well as in-person events. They will be a team player who can collaborate with various groups and disciplines on both a regional and global level. They must be detail-oriented, with the ability to think through the right workflows, while simultaneously managing a large volume of operational tasks to support the event focus within the company. In addition, they must have:

  • Ability to become a leader in personalized customer/consumer and brand experiences
  • Excellent client-management, client-facing and event focused project management skills with the ability to coordinate with multiple teams and stakeholders
  • 1-3+ years of experience with project and/or marketing event coordination
  • Excellent adaptation skills and the ability to re-focus and reprioritize whenever needed
  • A demonstrated interest in working in a global, fast-paced environment
  • A bachelor’s degree combined with an event and/or marketing background
  • Possess a keen sense of personal initiative, proactivity, and the ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines

In Washington State the base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $ 45,000 to $ 65,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
