Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
Canine to Five is looking for a stellar marketing and event assistant to join their team to help promote their brand to pet parents. This part-time opportunity is great for someone who is looking to gain hands-on experience and deepen their marketing skills. This position reports to the Director of Marketing and covers social media, paid advertising, analytics, communications, graphic design, event promotion, and other tasks as assigned.

Pay: $18-$21/hour
Schedule: 20 hours/week
Location: Remote with travel to Midtown, Ferndale and Commerce facilities for training, visits, and events

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate ideas to drive new business leads
  • Research projects as needed
  • Create, maintain, analyze, and report on digital ads via Google, Facebook, etc.
  • Complete an Annual Competitive Price Analysis
  • All other roles and tasks as assigned to achieve desired corporate objectives
  • Update Google My Business listings as needed
  • Update the website as directed
  • Respond to Positive Reviews on Google, Yelp, and Facebook
  • Promote services on various outlets, such as social media, community events, print and other mediums.
  • Pull marketing insights and enter into spreadsheet, analyze and report on trends
  • Assist the Marketing Director with graphic design needs and ideas
  • Promote, coordinate, and participate in company events onsite as well as off-site within the community
  • Maintain Preferred Employer Relationships/Database
  • Compose, update, and publish blog posts, newsletters, emails, announcements, etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to stay up to date on Social Media trends (i.e., Trending TikTok sounds, hashtags, challenges)
  • Superior Verbal & Written Communication Skills
  • Proficient using Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
  • Experience with Canva or other Graphic Design Program (i.e., Photoshop)
  • Familiar with Google Workplace (Sheets, Docs, Chat, Slides, etc.)
  • Well-versed in paid digital advertising and analytics preferred
  • Ability to travel to all locations of Canine To Five (Midtown, Ferndale and Commerce) & Off-Site Events
  • Analytical; Ability to identify areas of opportunity
  • Ability to create content (i.e; graphics, videos) with short deadlines (i.e., same day, next day)
  • Ability to Multi-Task in a Fast-Paced Environment
  • Excellent Decision-Making Skills
  • Experience updating WordPress/Websites; Familiar with SEO
  • Ability to work occasional weekends
  • Eagerness to learn and master new software (i.e; Gingr, Zoho, Trainual)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
