The Opportunity

We have a fantastic opportunity for an influential and energetic whisky ambassador to take on the role of Single Malt Specialist Southeast Region. Based in Miami, Florida, the SMS Southeast will report to the Head of Advocacy at Whyte and Mackay Americas. The role is full-time and permanent and will require some evening and weekend work as the demands of account development and activations dictate. Focus markets include Miami (and key zip-codes across Southern Florida), Tampa, and Atlanta, GA.

What You'll Be Doing

You will be the face of The Dalmore, Jura, and Tamnavulin brands in market. You will be tasked with step-changing the mental availability of our portfolio within our highest opportunity brick and mortar and/or online retail and luxury on-premises outlets across Florida and Atlanta, GA. You will be responsible for driving the advocacy and activation of these world-class Scotch whiskies with our importer, wholesaler and trade partners, joining a passionate team that is seen as a ‘cut above’ those of our competitors. This role will also be responsible for direct sales of The Dalmore’s rare and aged whisky offerings and building a database of individuals and organizations to see to and through.

We’re looking for someone who…. Has a bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Hospitality, or Liberal Arts. You will have previous experience with premium spirits in the US Market, with at least one-year experience in Florida. You should also hold CSS or WSET Level 2 certification or equivalent. We are looking for someone with knowledge of marketing capabilities in brand building and execution planning and be digital marketing and social media proficient. should also have experience in event management with an exceptional understanding and passion for luxury spirits, and ideally Single Malt Scotch Whisky and comfortable fluency with the three-tier system.
