The Copywriter holds a crucial position within our Creative and Marketing teams, assuming a leadership role in crafting compelling copy, informative content, and engaging brand storytelling across multiple projects in the dietary supplement space. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, from conceptualization and research to distribution and completion of effective copy for the company.


The primary responsibility of the Copywriter is to ensure the development of on-brand content for various marketing initiatives. This includes crafting persuasive copy for marketing campaigns, creating informative and engaging blog posts, developing educational pieces for packaging and other print mediums, tailoring content for various social media platforms, and supporting sales channels as required. The Copywriter plays a key role in establishing a consistent brand voice and identity to ensure a cohesive and impactful brand experience for our audience.


To accomplish these objectives, the Copywriter collaborates closely with our creative and marketing team, as well as our in-house R&D, Quality, and Regulatory specialists, to gather insights and develop a deep understanding of our dietary supplement products. This knowledge serves as the foundation for creating compelling and accurate content that resonates with our target audience.


Requirements


  • Act as a guardian of the brand's tone and voice across different channels and mediums
  • Possess expertise in multiple mediums, including emails, product copy, and video, with a special affinity for social media
  • Maintain consistency in copywriting by applying the brand style guide to written documents and spoken communications
  • Develop engaging and informative content across various channels including social platforms, print, sales platforms and blogs.
  • Lead all aspects of a project including reviewing and editing work as delegated by the Creative Services Manager and marketing team
  • Stay updated on trends both general and pertaining to the brand space to ensure the produced messages remain relevant and appropriate
  • Take the lead in projects related to print and online postings, including the creation of metadata files, defining keywords, search terms, taxonomy, and other related tasks
  • Be a strategic thinker with an understanding of the big picture and how it relates to the overall marketing strategy
  • Adapt writing skills to various formats, such as print, digital, social media, packaging, and in-store materials
  • Apply analytical thinking with a focus on data-driven marketing strategies
  • Ensure that content is on-strategy, meeting the requirements outlined in the creative brief, and reflecting the company's brand philosophy
  • Produce copy that reflects brand messaging and aligns with the creative and marketing teams’ overall goals
  • Create fresh and engaging social media content, considering the entire marketing funnel from awareness to consideration
  • Establish an overarching purpose, vision, and direction for the content being developed, ensuring its value to both the business and the target audience
