Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Marketing and Communications Manager for an incredible Nonprofit research organization dedicated to the fight against blood cancer! This is an exciting Full-Time, Hybrid opportunity located in Charlotte, NC!

As the Marketing and Communications Manager, you will bring your passion for the mission and your strong leadership skills to help develop strategies, analyze KPIs, and lead a team dedicated to saving lives!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead, manage, and support the Marketing & Communications Team
• Responsible for the staffing, business, and financial management of marketing and communications functions.
• Build and own market performance tracking, leveraging the data to create forecasts and to support decisions on the types of engagements and budgets.
• Build and maintain a culture within the whole organization that understands the importance of strong, clear, and consistent internal and external corporate communications.
• Source and manage external agencies and suppliers developing and maintaining strong relationships and ensuring best value for money.
• Be the “go to” person for colleagues across the organization needing marketing or communications insight, advice, and support.
• Maintain an overview of the key messages used across all communications, ensuring any changes are shared across the organization.
• Liaise closely with the Head of Department on the development of marketing and communications strategy and implementation plans.
• Ensure that the organization’s communications are of the highest quality and that they support and advance corporate objectives while adhering to brand values.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, PR or Communications
• 4+ years of Leadership experience
• Experience analyzing KPIs and an excitement for driving numbers
• 4+ years of B2B/C Demand Generation experience
• 4+ years of Marketing Strategy experience

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The salary range for this role is $70,000-$75,000 annually, and bonus potential of $7,000 to $7,500 annually. Additionally, they offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, short-term disability, group term life, 401k with match, 25 days PTO, floating holidays, paid holidays, disability, and maternity/paternity benefits.
