Job Title: Marketing & Business Development Manager


Job Type: Full-time, Exempt


Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 + Performance Bonus


Location: This role requires physical presence in the Austin area, though not in-office.


Hours: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm. Please note that working in business development within the real estate industry sometimes requires flexibility in working hours, including evenings.


About The Role: As a Marketing & Business Development Manager your primary objective is to manage the marketing and business development functions for apartment locating and home sales divisions. You will be responsible for creating and executing lead generation and revenue growth plans for a large real estate team. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, you will oversee our marketing agency, build teams to help execute social media strategy, and drive strategic partnerships to create differentiated value.


Successful candidates will have strong overall marketing and relationship-building acumen and ability to build strategy and execute impactful projects from ideation to execution. We are looking for a candidate with a self-starter mentality, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to project manage and prioritize.

Responsibilities:


  • Develop, manage, and track social media key performance indicators to ensure connection with target audience and alignment with strategy and goals.
  • Manage partner marketing agency to ensure return on investment and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Develop and deliver marketing plans, business development presentations, and recap reports to Chief Executive Officer and external stakeholders
  • Build and execute marketing and business development plans to drive leads and grow revenue.
  • Establish strategic partnerships to unlock unique value within the Austin community and Texas.
  • Create and manage social media calendar and team, ensuring content is captured, edited, and posted.
  • Build on the existing digital library of content, creating fun, modern, and new content for TikTok and Instagram


Qualifications:


  • Excellent self-reliance and discernment around when to escalate situations to upper management, with strong tech skills to leverage modern tools and platforms effectively.
  • Proven track record of success introducing marketing and sales structure.
  • Previous leadership experience, demonstrating the ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve targets.
  • Ability to thrive in a performance and feedback oriented work culture.
  • Familiarity and drive to learn Perch technology systems and leverage as tools.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite, Canva, InDesign, Loom, and similar tools.
  • Eagerness to own end-to-end marketing and business development strategies.
