The Marketing Assistant provides high-level support to the owners and other managers/staff as appropriate. This position will include basic marketing management tasks, project management around policies, procedures and processes, customer database management, and marketing support. You will need to display versatility in order to handle ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Responsibilities
• Undertaking daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities
• Supporting marketing executives in organizing various projects
• Collaborating with the marketing manager, internal teams, clients and partners on marketing strategy.
• Helping identify marketing trends and key opportunities for innovation.
• Conducting market research and analyzing consumer rating reports/ questionnaires
• Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
Qualifications
• Good understanding of office management and marketing principles
• Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
• Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach
• Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases
