The Role:
We are searching for talented and reliable Market Research Analyst to join our Boston team on a freelance basis. We are looking for an individual to build a long-term relationship with, serving as our go-to researcher to support requests on an ad hoc basis. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional research skills and the ability to delve deep into complex projects to provide valuable insights and strategic information for our specific clients. This role requires an analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the capability to deliver timely and accurate research findings.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct In-Depth Market Research: Work closely with brokers and the management team to understand the scope of research projects. Conduct comprehensive research on a variety of topics, including market trends, industry analysis, economic forecasts, competitor assessments, and more.
- Provide Insights and Analysis: Analyze research data to identify key trends, opportunities, and potential risks that will assist brokers in making informed decisions for their clients. Present findings in a clear and actionable manner.
- Continuously Improve Research Processes: Suggest and implement enhancements to the research process to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and better outcomes for future projects.
- Maintain Data Integrity: Ensure accuracy and reliability of all research data and sources used. Implement quality control measures to produce credible and trustworthy results.
- Build Strong Partnerships: Cultivate a strong working relationship with our team, understanding their research needs, and providing timely support to address their queries effectively.
- Effectively Communicate Results: Present research findings through written reports, presentations, or other formats as needed, tailoring the communication to suit the audience.
- Client-Specific Projects: These projects may involve identifying competitors' locations in the US and abroad or comparing economic forecasts of Europe, South America, and the US.
- Stay Current with Market Trends: Stay updated on industry developments, emerging markets, and relevant news that could impact our clients and their businesses.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of the real estate industry and global economic trends is a plus.
- Proficiency in relevant research tools and software.
- Proven experience in market research, data analysis, or related fields.
- Familiarity with various research methodologies and data sources.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and reliability.
- Excellent communication skills to convey research findings clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
