Market Data Analytics Intern (Hybrid)

What The Role Is
As a part of market fundamentals team, this role will focus on developing analytics based on power market data that supports both short data modeling and long term forecasts
What You'll Be Doing

• Automate and improve data flow and processes
• Automate data analytics using Python, Excel and Power BI to support power market modeling
• Data mining and maintaining datasets to support other ad hoc market analysis
• Develop dashboard for daily market reports

What You'll Bring

• Currently in either Bachelors or a Masters program in engineering, computer science, and mathematics
• Experience and skills in SQL, Power BI and Excel are important to be successful in this role

• Analytical mindset and curiosity to learn about power markets and new data analytics techniques
• Ability to work with big data via sql, python and/or xml files

**What We Provide**
The hourly range for this position is $19.00 to $35.00. The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, relevant and demonstrated experience, education, training and certifications, and other factors permitted by law.
