Job Responsibilities:
In addition to the general description of the parent profile role for this job function, the following summarize key result areas, specific accountabilities and / or tasks, etc. associated with this job title:
- Able to work in an aseptic manufacturing environment complying with Regulatory agencies both domestic and international (i.e. CFR, EMEA). This includes provisions related to wearing jewelry (rings, necklaces, and watches), loose fitting items, make-up, and any similar items.
- The ability to work in a dynamic environment as part of a team utilizing both oral and written communication.
- Able to accurately complete documentation following cGXP standards.
- Able to perform job duties while adhering to workplace safety practices.
- Responsible for preparation of equipment to be used in manufacturing processes.
- Able to physically lift and carry up to 40 lbs., without assistance, on an occasional basis and capable of working in various environmental environments including but not limited to ultra-low temperature spaces utilizing proper protective equipment and/or clothing.
- The ability to work with Microsoft programs (i.e. MS Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint,), Experience in electronic systems such as SAP, LIMs, LMS, and Trackwise are useful but not required.

- Responsible for environmental monitoring of aseptic areas and utility sampling (i.e., WFI, Clean Steam).
- Successfully complete aseptic operator training/gowning qualification.
- The ability to operate digital programs to support AstraZeneca’s lean/digital uplift.
- Able to operate equipment (i.e. scales, peristaltic pumps, autoclave, environmental monitoring equipment) used in manufacturing processes.
- Able to execute aseptic cleaning of the manufacturing areas which will require the use of disinfectants and sporicidal agents.
- Responsible for aseptic manufacturing of product to ensure product quality and patient safety.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 1 year of related experience in an aseptic manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or GED
ADVANCED SKILLS (Senior level):
- Lead problem-solving activities (Triage, Level 0).
- Act as a back up to process coordinators.
- Perform batch record review.
- Support validation as an SME of equipment and processes.
- The ability to perform line clearances.
- The ability to create and update standard operating procedures.
- Trained and capable of performing all duties in a minimum of two cells.
- The ability to operate BAS, Lighthouse, and file trail systems.
- Support/Attend meetings and site inspections as an SME.
- The ability to initiate and investigate deviations and complete CAPA’s.
