UltraVoice is looking for a a basic electronics tech or a denture tech, who wants to try something very niche. UltraVoice is a voice prosthetics company providing a better quality of life for those who cannot verbalize, usually laryngectomees, but we have some non-laryngectomy (something that has affected their voice box) patients as well. The tech will be building, troubleshooting, & repairing a simple battery, diode, speaker, control circuit and encasing it in acrylic within a dental appliance (retainer, partial or full denture), and building the peripherals (charger, controller to activate the appliance, and some other minor soldering). We are looking for good hand-soldering of wires/components or denture acrylic background.

The company is located in Newtown Square, PA.

The hours will start off at a set schedule, but, once the tech is trained and up to speed, the hours can be become flexible.

This would be an ideal position for someone looking to retire from their current job, but not yet ready to quit working, or for someone who is passionate about helping people have a better quality of life (imagine going to a restaurant and having to write your order down or have someone order for you).

Requirements:

1+ year of hand-soldering or denture acrylic work
