Job Description

Job Function


The day to day tasks for Additive Manufacturing Technician will include the following.


  • Maintain and operate post-processing equipment, such automated and manual compressed air blast cabinets, dye station, and the vibro polishing equipment
  • Must comply with all safety requirements including wearing safety equipment
  • Operate 3D printing equipment
  • Help with factory upkeep and cleaning to ensure products are created in a safe and efficient environment
  • Inspection of finished parts using various tools/equipment
  • Use of calipers and drills to preform quality dimensional checks
  • Post-processing of parts, including cleaning and sorting
  • Utilize workflow management software
  • Understand all safety, quality and operational procedures related to the use of tools, equipment, electronics and computer systems
  • Maintain and operate powder mixing station

Skills

  • Proficient with computers and a variety of different software is critical
  • The most important skill required to be successful in this position is attention to detail.
  • Must be coachable and willing to coach. After training and learning the position, we are looking for someone to take ownership and help run of important aspects of our business.

  • Familiarity and comfort with industrial equipment
  • Technical knowledge and ability to follow standard operating procedures is critical.
  • Able to be organized and clean while working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications


  • Ability to work unattended while multitasking
  • Mechanically inclined, familiar with power tools and machinery
  • Performs all work in compliance with 3DPX quality and safety systems, policies and procedures
  • College degree recommended or equivalent experience of 2+ years in manufacturing environment preferred
