- Maintain work area per food safety requirements.
- Manages time cards and time off approvals
- Required to perform maintenance duties and or support of manufacturing as needed
- Collaborates with leadership team
- Manages the work requests through the FIXX system
- Recommends continuous improvement activities to Senior Management for approval.
- Food Safety – maintain a focus on food safety at all times, as outlined in our GMP policy under the guidance of SQF requirements.
- Maintains a Maintenance department project spreadsheet. Reviews with Senior Management on a weekly basis.
- Maintain LOTO (Lock out Tag Out) system on existing and new equipment.
- Attend the daily production meeting. Communicates appropriately to ensure the Operations team is aware of maintenance activities.
- Manage Fiix System
- Consults with other departments regarding desirable modifications of existing equipment and the possible replacement of existing equipment which will improve operations and reduce maintenance costs.
- Is the first point of contact for all maintenance and facility requests
- Develops and maintains departmental KPI’s.
- Develops objectives and standards of performance for projects within the Maintenance Department required to meet departmental and corporate goals and objectives.
- Provide positive role model to subordinates.
- Develops, maintains, and administers an organization qualified to maintain all equipment in a safe and efficient working condition.
- Work directly with HR to resolve departmental issues.
- Comply with all company policies, and all quality, environmental, health and safety policies and procedures as well as any regulatory or statutory requirements related to the position.
- Coordinate system repairs with outside contractors.
- Champions safety culture and supports the EHS team
- New Machine/ equipment validation.
- Conducts market research to stay aware of industry trends and standards and informs on streamlining maintenance processes
- Coordinates repairs and resolves building issues.

- Or an equivalent combination of experience including background with ink/press machine operation and leadership positions.
- Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, and Outlook email and calendar capabilities.
- Confident understanding of repair diagnostics
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance role,
- Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
- Proven ability to build teams and communicate effectively to build a strong culture of involvement and impact
- Working knowledge in manufacturing and experience with machine repair
- 2-5 years of management experience, ideally in manufacturing,
- Knowledge in building codes and safety regulations is preferred but not required.
