Job Description
Pay: $25.00 Hourly


Shift 8.30-4.30pm


How will you make an impact?


The Manufacturing Technician will safely and efficiently produce high-quality products, while meeting the established production schedule for Gas Analysis Systems and modules to achieve production goals relative to Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.


Assemble all levels of subassemblies to meet quality and productivity standards.


Test and calib*** assemblies to meet quality standards.


Troubleshoot assemblies.


Material handling and inventory verification.


Prepare tested assemblies for customer.


Contribute to process documentation


Detail the critical aspects of each production run.


Manage of raw materials and inventory in a kanban system.


Using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)


Involvement in process development and occasional assistance in other work cells


Other duties as assigned.


Education


Minimum of a HS diploma or equivalent.


(A two-year associate degree in electronics or similar field preferred.)


Experience


Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities


Mechanical assembly, especially very small hardware and optical components


Experience with various hand tools


Soldering


Familiar with use of glues and epoxies


Alignment of optical components (A critical eye and precise attention to detail)


Good understanding of computers and software


Ability to read and accurately follow Standard Operation Procedures.


Basic mathematical skills


Punctual and dependable, consistently arriving to work on time and ready to work.


Good organizational and interpersonal skills for working effectively in a team environment.


Ability to routinely lift 40-50 lbs.


A desire to identify and implement continuous improvements.
