Job Description

We are looking for an energetic individual, passionate about the automotive aftermarket industry and lean manufacturing to lead our new production facility in Monroe, WA.DuraFlap is the premier manufacturer of custom mudflaps for pickup-trucks and motorhomes in the nation. The company has been in business for nearly 20 years and continues to grow.A proud member of SEMA, we are looking for the right individual to lead our manufacturing team and help expand the business.


Duties Include:

·Supervising a small team of assembly and fabrication technicians

·Fostering and leading a safety culture

·Managing production, quality and on time delivery

·Maintaining raw materials stock and shop supplies

·Performing equipment maintenance

·Leading continuous improvement activities

·Performing product installations on customer’s vehicles

·Hands on support of manufacturing production

oCNC programming/operation

oLight steel and aluminum fabrication

oLight assembly

oPackaging and shipping


Minimum Qualifications:

·High school diploma/GED required, preference will be given to those with a secondary education (degree or diploma)

·3+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in a lean environment

·2+ years of supervision experience

·Experience operating equipment, metal forming, machine programming, and/or machine setup

·Positive, “let’s do this” attitude

·Detail oriented and a process driven mentality

·Excellent problem solving skills

·Excellent planning and time management skills

·Good communication skills, both verbal and written

·Experience with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

·Ability to evaluate, develop, and implement improvements quickly

·Demonstrated orientation toward Safety, Quality, and Continuous Improvement

·Flexibility to work overtime as needed


Desired Skills:

·5+ years’ experience in manufacturing in a lean environment

·Experience with CAD programs such as Solidworks, AutoCad, DraftSight, etc.

·CNC programming and operation

·Direct customer service experience


Paid holidays:7 days

Paid mental health days: 1 per quarter at employee’s choice

Paid time off:Accrue up to 2 weeks the first year

$1000 signing bonus after 3 months

Must be willing to travel the first several weeks of employment for on-site training in southern Oregon.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Must be able to pass background check and drug test.
