How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Turbo Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing, optimizing and maintaining the processes and operations within production. They are responsible for staying apprised of best practices in the industry to help reduce production costs and finding more effective ways for producing Turbo’s products, while still maintaining (or improving) the desired quality for its customers.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair services to keep equipment operating in good and safe conditions.
  • Use engineering drawings (from SolidWorks, AutoCAD etc) to define the most cost and schedule efficient way to produce parts.
  • Perform analysis of manufacturing operations for continuous improvements and reducing costs.
  • Work with design engineers to provide feedback on simplifying manufacturing, reducing costs, or improving quality and safety of designs.
  • Development and implementation of fixtures and tools in order to ensure efficient production and meet part specifications.
  • Create, update and maintain manufacturing procedures.
  • Understand the in-house and vendor’s manufacturing/assembly capabilities to define the BOO (Bill of Operations) for all parts.
  • Understand and implement capitalization and improvement ideas from previous projects / commissioning /operations issues

Are you a MATCH?

  • Knowledge of AWS and ASME section IX
  • Ability to analyze and plan work flow, equipment placement and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiency.
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings
  • Proficient with Google Workspace
  • Bachelor’s degree (Mechanical or Industrial engineering preferred) with +5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing procedures and processes
  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor’s degree (Mechanical or Industrial engineering preferred) with +5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing environment.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    • Ability to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings

    • Familiar with ANSI Y14.5 geometric dimensioning and tolerancing

    • Knowledge of AWS and ASME section IX

    • Knowledge of Manufacturing procedures and processes

    • Knowledge of machining operations & weldments

    • Proficient with Google Workspace

    • Proficient with Solidworks or other 3D CAD software

    • Ability to analyze and plan work flow, equipment placement and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiency.
