Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Support our suppliers during quoting, sourcing, & manufacturing of various implanter parts including sheet metal, welded, and machined parts, OEM components and their parent electromechanical assemblies . Use expertise to provide sound solutions that support our manufacturing milestones and cost reduction initiatives.

Review drawings & specifications of these types of parts and subassemblies for manufacturability. Drive changes as needed to support manufacturing operations.

Support engineering, quality, and supply chain in the design and procurement of new parts and assemblies. Activities may include DFx review, first article inspection, and supplier visits when necessary.

Develop and communicate across the organization the best-known practices for the continuous improvement of engineering documentation.

Support the procurement and delivery of new electromechanical subassemblies a nd help identify sources of parts and subsystems to resolve existing technical & operational issues.

Troubleshoot a variety of moderately complex mechanical problems. Solve broader problems by working as a team when problems exceed expertise.

Coordinate problem solving with members of both internal and external production, engineering, quality, and supply chain personnel.

Functional Knowledge

Experience using CAD systems (PTC Creo a plus)

Familiar with MRP functionality, with SAP knowledge a plus

Broad understanding of the tools and methods used in manufacturing mechanical parts

Familiar with inspection tools and methods for manufacturing quality control

Business Expertise

Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work

Leadership

No supervisory responsibilities but provides informal guidance to new team members

Solves problems in straightforward situations; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents

Bachelor's Degree preferred

U.S. Salary Range:

$92,000.00 - $126,500.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on a number of factors including location and level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
